Thank you to all the donors who contributed to the first batch of sleeping bags. They arrived last weekend and all this week we have been handing them out to desperate, freezing people. Rome is now 3 C at night, pretty cold to be on the streets with nothing but a piece of cardboard to lie on and the clothes you are wearing.

Please give, because we have seen that the Government is evicting makeshift squats for the poor and camps for migrants in Rome, without offering alternatives, increasing and exacerbating the homelessness crisis for migrants. At JNRC we say believe in human rights, and work by the motto, "MIGRANT LIVES MATTER".

Saving a life with a sleeping bag is one way we can show people that there are plenty out there who care about them.
